Feathers - Everything for your Garden Birds

Feathers Nature Area

From the offset of Feathers our intention was to open an area where customers could sit in comfort and watch some of our beautiful garden birds just feet away. The Nature Area, situated just fifty meters from the shop, is everything we could wish for; a magnificent hide having stunning panoramic views across a valley with many species of birds feeding and bathing almost at arms reach. Customers have been over-awed by the sheer delight of this area, one described it as “The smallest Nature Reserve in the country”. We also have binoculars if you would like to get eye to eye with our avian visitors.

For those interested in photography having birds actively flitting around the many natural perching places in front of the hide is a dream, a super location for budding and experienced photographers alike. Many of the photos can be seen here.

Allan and Joe look forward to welcoming you to this fantastic, peaceful but bustling little bird sanctuary.
